Training to the dogs focus. Your dog's
focus will only last about 20 or 30 seconds. Positive or negative reinforcement
after the focus has passed will result in the reinforcement being associated
with a different event than intended. Actions, good or bad, must be reinforced
while the dog is focused. You cannot train "after the fact".
